Upgrading to Netherite on Prime Vanilla

On Prime Vanilla, you do NOT need a Smithing Template to upgrade your diamond gear to netherite!

How Netherite Upgrading Works​

  • No Netherite Upgrade Template Required: You can upgrade any diamond armor or tool to netherite without needing a Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template.
  • Use Either Anvil or Smithing Table: You can perform the upgrade using either a Smithing Table or an Anvil.
  • Just Combine Diamond + Netherite Ingot: Simply combine your diamond item with a netherite ingot in either interface to upgrade.

Why This Change?​

  • Makes netherite more accessible and less grindy.
  • Lets you focus on gameplay and pvp, not template hunting.
