Voice Chat

(SimpleVoiceChat Mod Support)

Prime Vanilla supports proximity voice chat using the SimpleVoiceChat mod! This allows you to talk to other players in-game using your microphone, with audio distance and direction based on your location in the world.

How to Use Voice Chat

  1. Install the SimpleVoiceChat Mod

    • Download the mod from the Modrinth.
    • Add it to your Minecraft mods folder.
    • Make sure you are using the correct version for your Minecraft client.
  2. Join the Server

    • Connect to Prime Vanilla as usual.
    • The mod will automatically connect you to the in-game voice chat system.
  3. Configure Your Settings

    • Press the default key (V) to open the voice chat menu.
    • You can adjust your microphone, speaker, and other settings here.
  4. Talk to Players Nearby

    • Hold the push-to-talk key or enable voice activation.
    • Only players within a certain distance will hear you, just like real life!

Is Voice Chat Required?

No, using voice chat is completely optional. You can still play and communicate using Minecraft's text chat if you prefer.

Troubleshooting

  • Make sure your microphone is connected and working.
  • Check your mod version matches the server's Minecraft version.
